A subscription is an automated process that generates a “pay later” pre-order for new products in a given category.

A Sorcery Booster Box Subscription will generate a pre-order for each new Sorcery booster box until it is turned off.

An Ashes Expansion Subscription will generate a pre-order for each new Ashes expansion until it is turned off.

If you are actively playing a game and don't want to track down new products at retail stores or places like TCGPlayer, a subscription is for you.

Similarly, if you don't want to scramble to compete with scalpers and investors buying up high demand items just so you can play a game, a subscription is for you.

Also, if you just want to put the “buying products” part of your life on auto-pilot and spend your time doing other things, a subscription is for you.

No. It's not like a Pateron or Netflix subscription. No cost to start, no monthly cost, nothing. Think of a subscription like your own little bot that automatically reserves products for you.

All of our pre-orders, including those generated by a subscription, are priced at MSRP. If you wait until release or a few weeks after release, you might be able to find a lower price on some of these items.

Alternatively, they might also get a lot more expensive if demand is high. MSRP can either be a downside or a benefit, depending on the item.

If convenience and reliability are more important to you than the lowest possible price, there is no downside.

There are two ways you you can sign up for a subscription.

1. You can always view and sign up for all of the subscriptions we offer on the Subscriptions section of your Account.
2. Alternatively, if you pre-order the newest release in a subscription-enabled product line, you'll be prompted to sign up on the “success” page of checkout.

First, the system will check to see if you already have a pre-order for the newest release in that product line. If not, it will generate a “pay later” pre-order for that release in Reserved status.

You start a subscription for 4x Sorcery TCG Booster Boxes. If you do not have a pre-order for the latest Sorcery set, a “pay later” pre-order will immediately be created for the latest Sorcery set, at a quantity of 4.

Then, moving forward, any time we charge Reserved orders for the upcoming product in your subscription, a new Reserved order will be created for the next release.

You have a Sorcery Booster Box Subscription and a Sorcery Set 5 pre-order in Reserved status. When Sorcery Set 5 is charged, your Sorcery Set 5 pre-order will change from Reserved status to Paid status and a Sorcery Set 6 pre-order will be created in Reserved status.

This process will continue until you turn off your subscription or the product type is discontinued. Or if the game dies, but let’s not think about that.

One very important thing will not happen. Any orders already created by your subscription will not be canceled. You'll need to cancel these orders directly from the Orders section of your Account.

Other than that, there simply won't be any new orders created.
